We went to West Greenland in 2007 and loved it so much we went to East Greenland in 2008. You can see our pictures and read our comments here.

It is well off the usual tourist beat but an amazing place. There are no roads - all transport between the settlements is by sea or air. In the north sled dogs outnumber the human population. After seeing ice bergs and glaciers here everywhere else seems tame.
