Oh my gosh! Alessandro just told me about the new Australian version of Monopoly. Does everyone else already know about this?

The counters are a laptop, a mobile phone, a surfboard, a Ute, a labradoodle dog, a koala and a pair of thongs!

There is a list of all the places that made it in. Canberra got three spots! Yay!

Out of all the locations that made it into the game, I've been to:
- Adelaide
- Sovereign Hill
- Melbourne
- Tamworth
- The Snowy Mountains
- Anzac Parade
- Lake Burley Griffin
- Cotter Reserve
- Sunshine Coast
- Great Barrier Reef

Do you all have versions of Monopoly for where you live? Or are we just special? Big Grin

P.S. I just thought of something. H'mmm, does anyone know where the real estate is the most expensive and which is not? This could get very interesting!

Okay Leslie,

My list of places visited are:
Barossa Valley
Adelaide
Kalgoorlie
Broome
Perth
Sovereign Hill
Great Ocean Road
Melbourne
Launceston
Cradle Mountain
Hobart
Broken Hill
Katherine Gorge
Devils Marbles
Kakadu
Sunshine Coast
Great Barrier Reef

Have yet to visit our capital of Canberra.

Most expensive real estate for a Capital City mentioned on news the other night is now Perth, because of the boom in our state.

Since a couple of those places listed are actually National Parks, I don't think they would make the list of most/least expensive.

So I'm guessing Broken Hill for least expensive.

Over to you............

Elly

Here's my list:

Launceston
Cradle Mountain
Hobart
Broken Hill
Snowy Mountains
Anzac Parade
Lake Burley Griffin

Northern Territory still to experience!

The question now is:

Where do you think should have been included in the Australian version of the game?

I'd include Kangaroo Island.

Over to you!

H'mmm, OK, so I wanted the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and I don't think at all highly about the Canberra places that were chosen.

I wonder why Uluru wasn't on there?

I am on day two of playing the game on line, and I now own Melbourne and the Great Barrier Reef.

And why didn't they choose the beautiful Blue Mountains? Odd.
