THANK YOU, KIM! It just so happens I am going to Buenos Aires 5 or 6 weeks from now(for me, also, not a place that was an afterthought). Your article is very helpful, since I won't have time to do as much research as I usually do before a trip. I've printed it up, and I'll re-read it with my husband tomorrow, as we are flying into Mexico City. When we come home, we will register with Cicerones (oh, my - what a nice thing that is!) and consider your itinerary as we make our plans. I am lucky to have spotted your posting - thanks again!
