Thanks for the review Fletch. I didn't realize that there was an Explora on Easter Island. I knew of their excellent hotels in Patagonia and Atacama. It is great to know there is also one on Easter Island - it sounds wonderful.

We also stayed at Explora Patagonia a few weeks later but I haven't written a trip report for it as it is very similar setup except for the scenery and excursions. Luxury to come back to after some great walks.
Both places were wonderful but the view from our bedroom in Torres del Paine was spectacular.
