It looks like Tom and Judy are off on an exciting adventure again this year. I've wanted to visit Morocco and his pictures are inspiring me to want to visit the country even more.
Have a safe trip. I'm looking forward to reading more about your adventures.
You will have a blast in Morocco! Can't wait to read your impressions and it is a photographers dream location. We loved it last year and it was one of our favorite spots so far in almost two years of doing our world tour.
We have run into quite a few older Europeans who spend their winters in RV's in Morocco and love it.
We were actually suppose to be there now for our second visit, but we had to push up our take off date to May 15th because our website revamp took much longer than expected. Sadly had to cut it this year, maybe next year again. Be careful with the food!
Are you headed to nearby Portugal next by chance? That is where we will start and could maybe connect if you are heading that way. I am wondering if all went well with your long stay visa process.
I am getting itchy feet, but we are off for this holiday week end ( in Europe) to Jerez for the big horse show to satisfy and a little trial run.
Email me and let me know your schedule for this year to see if we cross paths.
Oh,just like you would not want to miss the ancient cave house experience in Cappadocia, Turkey, you really should not miss the riad experience in Morocco.
Looks like you are heading to the Sahara...great choice..the best of Morocco! Both Dar Seffarine in Fez and Kasbah Ellouze near Ait Ben Haddou are both very special and extremely well priced ( under 100 dollars).
You will be glad you tried it and don't miss the hammon which is as close as you will get to what it was like in a Roman bath. We loved the one in Essouria.
Greetings from Sevilla, Spain. Traveling fast in a land of minimal wi fi (which we need to upload the blog) it is now time to update the Morocco blog which we started. It is not as yet complete but here is a good start. It is of 2 pages and here is the first one
Morocco the second one is connected at the bottom of this web page.
A land of beautiful vistas, sights, scents and activities. We passed through quickly, taking 2 weeks when 3 is probably better. Morocco’s number one industry is tourism, so at no time did we feel endangered.
We will finish the narrative with more photos when we can. We just wanted to give everyone a taste of our 2008 journey so far.
