The Hanja on the building reads "something...World", which probably is the name of a shopping complex. Do you have a high-rez scan that shows the letters on the banner or the surrounding area?

Here are closeups of the banners. I couldn't do any higher than 600 on my scanner, plus since I have dial-up, big pix take forever to upload.

I can see now that the building is Shinsegae, aka, New World. It's a large department store headquartered in Seoul. The picture shows the main Shinsegae store located in Seoul.
