Entertaining article on Manila and Bohol island in the Philippines.

Having visited the Philippines for a few months a few years back I think the authour has captured the spirit of Manila quite well and Bohol island looks idyllic - a bit like the Island we stayed on in Palawan.

Very nice article, Christine. Thank you. I must admit, I am one of those who think Manila is just a connecting port to my home destination which is Cebu.

I have been to Panglao, Bohol and loved the days I spent there. Peaceful and idyllic (to use your term)... Best place for do nothing days.
