Hi,
I hope i am placing this in the right place.I'm not sure if anyone can help me but i have to try.
My family and I are relocating to Perth(Australia). At this stage we have no dates but maybe july, aug, sep 2007.
We are searching for accommodation untill we find a rental. We can only afford what we would be paying in rent a week($300 to $350).

If anyone can help please let me know.Thanks.

Do you know where in Perth you would like to be? Are you re-locating for work?
If so, which suburb?

I may be able to help as I have contacts in Real Estate. Even try our state's newspapers and there are plenty of agencies with on-line rental features.

Give me some idea and I will give you a heads up.

Hello Elly,
We are hoping to live in the northen suburbs..tapping,clarkson,etc.
My husband will be trying to find work as a plasterer(there seems to be alot of work about).

It would be so amazing if you can help as i am so stressed and are finding it hard to find a place in our budget(everything furnished is expensive). We only need a furnished place for a short while untill we buy our stuff and find a rental.Or we would consider movig straight into a rental.

Hope to hear from you soon Elly(sorry it took awhile for me to respond,i did not know you had relied).

Kind Regards Pebbels.

Pebbles,

Here are some links to rentals in Clarkson. I will also contact my friends in Real Estate for the northern suburbs. I actually live about 100km southwest of Perth so can't look for you personally. The biggest problem you will face is finding furnished accommodation. That said, however, there are plenty of second hand furniture dealers with good quality furniture at low prices.

Your husband will have no trouble finding work here as there seems to be a shortage of skilled tradesmen in the building industry because a lot of men have gone to our mining towns. Unemployment is at an all time low here because of the boom. Don't stress, you will do well. If you do find something to your liking without my help, still feel free to contact me when you are settled and maybe we can meet.

Elly

(Sorry Mods, don't know how to shorten links - help maybe?)

Thanks Elly,
Sounds good.Thanks sooo much!

We dont mind an unfurnished rental just gets tricky not seeing the house and property and having to sign a lease. We actually were wanting to find a place on line and do it like that but were warned that was not always best and that Real Estate dont really relpy back to you,so we flagged the idea. That is why we thought we would go for a holiday home(short term etc) but they are proving way to expensive.

We would appericate it if you would not mind getting in contact with friends in Real Estate.I think finding a unfurnished long term rental would be the way(in our price range) and then we can just move in(hopefully we will know dates soon).
Thanks Elly and i look forward to any news you have. What a relief!

Kindest regards pebbles.
