Marc, we were there in November. The rooms were small but adequate - basic, nothing fancy. Kosher beds though (aka, two twins, made up as twins, pushed together). I liked having the coffee pot in the room. We spent time hanging out in the lobby/bar area as there wasn't much room to spread out in our rooms. Grounds looked beautiful, what we saw but were on the go so much we didn't get to explore much during daylight. Food was edible and abundant. How's that?
Marc, the location is fantastic for touring the northern Galil, which is beautiful at certain times of the year. We stayed there in July many years ago and enjoyed the grounds. Don't remember much about the accommodations, except that they were comfortable and reasonably attractive.
From there, we visited Banyas falls, tel Dan, the Golan and so on. If you wish tell us when you are planning to visit Israel , so others can tell you about visiting that area in a particular season.

As Kim wrote, Kibbutz Goshrin is fine, with a basic kibbutz guest house.
If you'd like to try something different, you should look into B&B's. The north of Israel is full of B&B's and staying in one might make your stay far more interesting. I assume you will have a car.
If you are interested, I can find and send you a few links of sites in English.
