And in nearby Amiens is the sicilian style Giardino's Cafe with Australian influence. I have enjoyed a meal there, but have not done the farm tour.

Nice article from Jenny. I can't believe that I have lived here for 60 years and not heard of Stanthorpe.

Melbourne now has three seasons - hot, dry, cold - the wet disappeared with global warming. And this week we have had all of them. Nearly 40C the other day, this afternoon 18C.

Charisse, your question puzzles me - the answer is about 2 hours plane flight, but where are you?

Hi Monty - I'm in Los Angeles. Sorry about the confusion. I was referencing a possible roadtrip for you since you've never been (and depending on where you are!)

And, presuming you fly to Brisbane, about three hours drive.
