I had what I thought was a brainstorm last night. My daughter plans to be in Gambia (w. Africa) over Xmas/New Years and I thought, since she doesn't have to be back to school until mid Jan., that I could meet her in London (Heathrow) right after New Years and fly together to Rome for a week. Now, after a bit of research, it looks like Gambia has few & far between flights out of the country, plus I think they only fly into Gatwick. Is this plan crazy without spending tons of $$? Because I thought I could save money by flying low season. How would I do it since I'd probably fly into Heathrow and she would fly into Gatwick? Does anyone have experience flying into/out of Gambia??
