I immediately went to the Thompson safari and requested one of their catalogues since this is something that our family has always wanted to do. Were there any children in your group? Would you recommend this particular adventure for kids of say 13 and 14? Your pictures are fabulous as well, they really do look like pictures out of a National Geographic magazine! My favorites are the ones of the children and your sunsets were awesome.
Thanks again for writing such a indepth report of your adventure, hopefully I'll be able to write one myself one day.
Just wanted to say thank you for one of the most wonderful trip reports I've ever enjoyed. We may have to bump up our plans for a safari from a 5-year plan to a 2-year.

Well, I just read the reply posting to my Africa report. I was glad to know that it was read and enjoyed. Liz, I think I answered your question a while ago as I think you sent a direct e-mail to me. But------if I remember wrongly--yes, Thomson would be great for a family and kids as they adapt and adjust all they do to the needs of the client. I am soooooooo sold on Thomson. We just returned from Peru and will soon post a report on our adventure there-----it is just taking time to write. Thanks to both of you who said such nice things. Yes----bump up your calendar and go to Africa asap.

Just realized that maybe some people still check this out. If so, since the original posting I have created my own website with an improved report and lots of pictures. If interested, just click on link in my signature. Enjoy!
