I am planning my first trip to Thailand in November. Most likely I'll be buying online - probably Expedia to avoid paying for a travel agent. Seems like the best deal is China Airlines. I can get there for under 900. sounds pretty good to me but I've not been to Thailand before so I don't know for sure. Just looking for some advice/experience. Also, is China Airlines pretty good? TIA!

This sounds like a good price. I spend US$1078 for a trip from JFK or LAX to BKK (non-stop) - Thai Airways.
There is a certain convenience in these nonstop flights that I accept at the rate I pay.

Thank you for the response. The flight is not non-stop but for 850.00 I think I can handle it (I hope!).
Does anyone have any reviews on China Airlines? Or TPA airlines?
