Hello All! I searched for Wine Tours in this forum, but didn't see any specific company recommendations. Anyone have any? I'm getting a few work folks together to do a day long wine tour outside of Melbourne - any suggestions of a good company would be appreciated! Australia.com mentions a company called, interestingly enough, the Australian Wine Tour Company. Smile Any other ideas?

KJ,

www.sensis.com.au is a website solely for Australia.

If you type your request in search bar, e.g. wine tours Victoria, you will have a selection to choose from. Hope this helps you.

I'll see if I can find the name of the one I took. I think it might be Yarra Valley Winery Tours. I remember it used a minibus and it did pick me up directly from the hotel so it would be the City Getaway Tour. I didn't do the option with the lunch at De Bortoli but one couple in the group did get dropped off for lunch at De Bortoli and it looked like a lovely place for a lunch. I can't remember where we had lunch but it was a buffet and good but I was always wondering what I missed at De Bortoli.

I would recommend stopping at Domaine Chandon and Coldstream Hills. I think we also went to Yering Station and St Huberts. We also stopped at Greg Norman but I don't see it on the list.

I highly recommend the tour. It was great fun.

I checked at home and I didn't keep a brochure for the wine tour. In my notes, I did call it the "Yarra Valley Wine Tour" so I really think it was the same company and the link above. You might want to check and see how long they have been giving tours. I took the tour in August 2000.
