The Inti-Raymi festival is a major Peruvian celebration held each year to welcome the return of the sun. It is a recreation of a ceremony held annually by the Inca and his people. Kathy, yes--do your research and then go. Most of all, though, thanks for enjoying Casey and following his life and saga. Are you just checking his web pages or following the blog--which currently is mostly about him as we are currently at a stand still in our residency visa application--waiting on a ruling from the judge.

Yes. Research is good and I am definitely reading quite a bit from the internet and also trying to look for some other good resources as well. A bunch of us will be doing the Grand Canyon next spring, so a possible trek outside of the country will most likely not be until Fall or Spring of 2006, so I will have plenty of time.

Since I have become quite the Blog addict, I have been keeping up with both. I don't have much spare time so I have also become quite the speed reader on the internet.

The paperwork issue does sound pretty complicated. But your trip looks to be such a good experience, I do hope everything will work out.
