I've been listening to reports on these events on the Australian Radio Asia Pacific podcasts. They have started to effect some of the tourist services. Let's hope for a quick and peaceful settlement.

It is always a good idea to frequently check the US State department site for information regarding travel. Here is the link to Thailand information at State Department. It includes a link to recent Embassy notices which cover the current situation.
