Hi all!

Hubby wants to go to South Africa this Christmas holiday...not on Safari but to an ecotourism resort on the coast. Big game, species of birds one would never see anywhere else, flora and fauna. Has anyone any experience planning this sort of holiday or have gone to one of these types of resorts? I'm in the very begining stages of planning this and hunted on the internet for ideas...came up with a couple of wonderful places but thought I'd ask for some helpful hints from you guys. Thank you for any advice you can give!

I've done a couple of trips that include staying at what I would call eco-resorts or eco-tours. I haven't been to South Africa yet. I'd love to go but my hubby currently has cold feet about it. What type of questions do you have?

Also Jane may be able to help us also. She has recently stayed at what I could call an eco-resort in Equador.
