We took a week and visited our daughter [who was there for a month long TEFL class] in June. I blogged about it to some extent, with pictures, at my JourneyZing Blog [I still owe the last two days, I think] I want to echo the discussion by Bill in his review of the Posada Palermo. My husband and I stayed there and it was a great spot. We were welcomed and comfortable [we had a room in the annex, but it was a short 5 foot walk to the front door and the delicious breakfast each morning]. The location is good for walking to and from places, catching a cab [very inexpensive], or public transport [we walked alot!].

I glad my review was big help for you to find a place to stay in Buenos Aires.
