We've found some stuff indicating that the marathon used to be run at the beginning of November but can't seem to find anything current, specifically for this year. Do they still run it? Anyone know this year's date?

I did a quick check for you, but all I could find was a half-marathon every March. I'll ask around next time I talk with any Israeli friends.

Yeah - we saw that half-marathon too. I found indications that the full marathon was run the first weekend in November up through 2004 but I couldn't find anything for 2005 or this year.

Hi Kim:

I checked my usual reliable sources HERE and HERE.

Both made no mention of a Full Marathon in Jerusalem. So, I emailed the organizers and they told me that there is no full marathon in November, but they have plans for one in 2007.
For now they only know of the half in Jerusalum (4/3/06) and the full in Tiberias (1/5/06).

Anyway, just wanted to share that information. Good luck in your search.

Confirmation here, too. Kim, my friend in Jerusalem said she couldn't find any mention of a marathon in November.
