Heard about a new website today that I thought potential visitors, as well as migraters, might find interesting:
Adelaide Bound

Lots of useful facts & links for people wanting to migrate, but there are also webcams, maps & much more! I grew up in Adelaide & thought I knew the city well, but there's stuff here I didn't know about...

Enjoy!

Frown since there's not a crying icon...

This was one of the websites I found before. It's a great one!

Just as an aside, going through the list on the site again, I found this: "In addition, the following Professional occupations may be nominated under the Employer Nomination Scheme but not under the General Skilled Migration categories.", then "Legal Professionals (nec)" is listed (which is listed separately from Barristers and Solicitors).

Hmm. Wonder what they mean... Garlic Man

Hey WAIT a minute! (I'm editing and putting this in because I just now saw it further down the page) It says "General Skilled Migration ..." and lists "Hotel or Motel Manager (Diploma Level)". Hmm again. Maybe the certification would be worth it! Although I think I tried that already, and the age got me disqualified.

(Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack the thread! Blushing)

Love the Adelaide Bound website! It really shows off the city, and I can't imagine seeing it all and not wanting to go. Be very proud of your city Big Grin

For those serious about migrating you can also get a book in the Where to Live series on Adelaide. It has a detailed description of each suburb, local services and facilities, employers, schools etc. I've flicked through it and it seems quite comprehensive and well-organised.
