I called old friends last night to get advice on
our impending trip to Europe. They have been traveling with
the Semester at Sea program which is literally a school on board a ship. They have been all over the world, from Iceland to Malaysia, Spain, Africa...
They want us to go with them and it sounds like it might be a good
Way for us to travel. Anyone familiar with it? Maggie

I worked with a woman who did this twice and really loved it. She took a leave of absence from work for the three months while the whole family (parents and two boys) did the trip. It sounded like a wonderful experience for the whole family. Unfortunately, she no longer works for the company so I can't get any direct information for you.

Hi Marta...yes, from what we are learning its a wonderful way to travel and really interact with each culture. The next voyage leaves June 17, my birthday from Ensenada, Mexico. We are getting together with our friends in San Francisco to talk more about it. If anyone is interested its...
