I have just posted my rather lengthy, hopefully not tedious, report and photos from China. We returned two weeks ago so guess I did not do to badly in getting this done. Please let me know if there are any problem links, etc. I have tested and tested but probably have missed something. Hope you enjoy. Just click on link below and then navigate to Travel Memories and then China.

Jane- I've only read the first few pages, but I'm going to be diving back in later tonight. Your photos are beautiful, and the trip details and reflections are fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Jane, you've probably been wondering whether my interest in your China trip had faded. Nope -- I just haven't had any time in the last few weeks to read your journal(s). I'm still looking forward to doing so and will hopefully get to it before the new year???

I went to your website and took a very brief gander and really look forward to reading more.

Yes, David--I had wondered where you were. Glad you haven't abandoned me. It is so hard to get traffic on an obscure website like mine that I value each person who goes there. I think you will enjoy. Actually, I have had e-mails from various places around this big world--wanting to know if I am a professional travel writer and who does my programming. Lots of nice stuff. Somehow the word has been spreading. I love it!! Enjoy. big grin (This is a lake in Tibet.)

Just to whet your appetite to check this out. The China section of my website was an Editor's Choice in Frommer's on-line newsletter. Actually, the Peru section was an earlier Frommer's pick. Enjoy.
