Judy, Off the top of my head, I'd suggest a Mercure hotel. But I can't resist urging you to press on to Senlis, a delightful and charming small town, really one of the nicest in France and much closer to the airport. There's a Logis de France hotel there, the Hostellerie de la Porte Bellon. Quite nice, though I'd advise against eating in their restaurant: http://ldf.reservit.com/reservit/fiche_htl.php?userid=2...ent=0&cis=1171502175Dave

Hi Judy, Just curious-- where are you going to be coming from that last day? We flew into Beauvais from Ireland last summer, and Kelly and I had a couple of hours at the airport while Charley went to pick up our leased car. We saw just a bit of the town as we were driving out toward Normandy. I feel sure we could make your last night more special! Auvers-sur-Oise is a place that has interested me as a possible last-night base near CDG airport. (Is that where you are flying out of?) Van Gogh painted there and is buried there, and here is a three-star Logis de France hotel where you could have a special last-night meal in France. It looks like this is only 30 minutes from CDG... (However, I haven't ever been there, so this is just a brainstorm!) Looking forward to our GTG in May-- Kathy
