 Slow Traveler

The itinerant markets get a lot of the "maraîchers", which should mean fresher and less expensive produce. Christy, I know you have been to the Friday Anvers one. Didn't you find it to be so? But it is true that Paris markets of course can't compare with those in smaller towns and villages in the provinces. Am still dreamy about the 3.2 euro/kilo farm-fresh strawberries on the Villefranche de Rouergue market. My friends also noticed that as we travelled north(Paris)ward, strawberry prices slowly but steady went up but not the quality, hélas.
