• First week: Rice Festival, Arles/Diane Festival, Moustiers
• Middle of the month: Olive Festival, Mouriès, near Arles
• End of the month: Festival of St-Michel, Marseille; takes place in the 9th and 10 districts

~ OCTOBER ~

• First weekend: Olive Festival, Ollioules, near Toulon
• Middle of the month: Provençal cuisine and products, Mouriès
• 23: Chestnut Festival: La Garde Freinet, near St-Tropez

Thank you for this informative posting. We will be in this area in Sept and the olive festival is right down our "allez" (let me do it for you, smack!smack!bam!). Also note that there is a website www.provenceweb.fr that has a page for many villages and cities is the Provence area including the town of Mouries you mention.
