I've arrived in Paris on a two-week home exchange. Not exactly a trip report, but I'm writing some things
up on my blog and posting photos on Flickr, if anyone's interested:

Don't miss it -- it's VERY entertaining!

I'll be back in Paris for a long weekend, 7-12 November, and planning to add to my blog from there. It'll be interesting to see how their Remembrance Day on the 11th compares to ours.

Anne, I checked in on your blog yesterday, and it was fun to read about your experiences in Aix in the wintertime. It sounds like Kirk is enjoying the IS school. (I also did a cooking session with Madame Plan, the tour with George etc. and Sonia was one of my teachers.)

Roz's Driver Mike is blogging about our ongoing visit to France here. We are currently at the Couer de France language school in Sancerre trying to brush up on our French. We leave here Saturday for a week in the Dordogne, then finish up with a week near UzĆØs, just over the western border of Provence, in the Languedoc.

Roz's driver is too funny.
I just posted (or tried to) a comment on the blog, but now see that it still says 0 comment, so who knows.
To add insult to injury, just now slowtalk, once again, asked me to give my email address and password to log in blabla…

Chris:

My wife and I moved to Paris on a whim, planning to stay a year at the most. One thing led to another and we found we've been here going on 16 months. I guess we' ll have to go home eventually, but in the meantime . . .

Den and I are back in Paris on Friday for 17 days! I have made a few blog entries about our planning and will start blogging again in earnest once we get there.

We are beyond excited and just can't wait to be back in the city we have come to love so much!

Hi, Chris, I found this forum when you linked my blog to it (about the TGV trains). I'm permanently blogging from France (from the French Alps). I live in Savoie but travel all over France so I have videos from several places with more to come. Thanks for introducing me to this forum.

Blogging from France is exactly what we're doing, since we're living in Paris for 8 months. We got here the beginning of September and I'm posting regularly about things we're doing, things we're seeing, and how we're feeling about it all. We'll be moving around and posting from other places, but for the moment, we're giddy with excitement over being here.
