Charisse - the links from the La Baraudrie classified page to the reviews do not work -- they link to a page that says "The page you are looking for has been moved or removed."
Great ad - I'm ready to go tomorrow!

I'm assuming you are referring to the links in the body of the listing that the owners added. However, those reviews they were trying to link to were already found shortly thereafter farther down their page: #447, 1032, 2341. I've removed the bad links since they were duplicates.
It's wonderful to see La Barauderie become a Slow Trav Favorite!
Karen and Craig have created a delightful haven for travelers. Shannon and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there last September -- our (glowing) review of Le Petit Souper.

I was very happy to see this too! This is one of my very favorite places. We stayed there for two weeks in 2004, and for several days again last spring.
Wow, what great news for Karen and Craig! Like Chris, it's one of our favorite places. We first stayed there in 1998, before Karen and Craig had email, and have returned at least twice. I was a little reluctant to review La Barauderie here because it was necessary to contact Karen and Craig via phone or (God forbid), snail mail, but after Chris stayed there, she was instrumental in getting Karen and Craig to get email so all of us Slow Travelers could contact them more easily! A well-deserved congratulations!
Aloha, Ann

This is a heartfelt "THANK YOU" to everyone who has written in about "La Barauderie".
This will be our 17th season and we're happy to say that, so far anyway, the majority of our booked guests for 2008, are either returns or word-of-mouth, from pleased guests, who have found the relaxation, peace and beauty of this little corner of the Loire Valley.
Thanks again everyone, we look forward to seeing familar faces and new ones to boot this year!
A bientot, j'espere, karen & craig.

Aloha, Karen and Craig! I hope the familiar faces don't get too boring to you! And I hope you'll continue to share the wisdom gained over 17 years in one of the loveliest corners of France. Paul says hi too.
Aloha, Ann
