Can anyone suggest a nice B&B (or apartment) in Languedoc for a one week stay during May/June, 2009. We will have a car, so transportation not an issue. We would like it to have charm, nice furnishings, a pool is preferred, reasonable prices (100 euros a night or less). Friendly, knowledgeable hosts (English speaking) a plus. Many thanks, Judy

Have you checked the vacation rental reviews and hotel reviews on our main site? There may be something there of interest.

We stayed here http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p5587?uni_id=9664 last September for one week. It was a great place to stay. Location was good for exploring western Provence as well as Pont du Gard, Nimes, Tavel (the best pink wine!!).

Laura and her husband (she American, he French) were wonderful. The views of Mt Ventoux in the morning at sunrise were incredible. Click on the my photos below to see the pictures.

It is in the little town of Laudun, which has a SuperU market and other shops for essentials as well as a great Sunday market day.

They also have their own website, but I don't seem to have it bookmarked. If you google "Domaine des Charmettes" you will probably be able to find it. It's also available through a number of other rental agencies.
