We will be staying in Paris for one night in July and need 2 rooms that will each accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. Something walking to the Eiffel Tower would be ideal. I've looked at the hotel reviews here but of the ones that looked good, one was booked, another 500 euros. We'd like to stay in the 200-300 euro range for each family if possible. Any suggestions?
Nicole: I am starting research for a family trip next summer for 8, including kids, so my first thought was an apartment hotel I found - Hotel Home Paris. It offers units for 4, but the current rate for a twin suite id 345 Euros.
I know this is higher than your proposed budget - so in checking further I found that Frommer's has a list of family friendly hotels with connecting rooms, 4 beds in a room or other family friendly amenities.
Good luck.

Relais du Louvre where we have stayed in 2006 and 2007 is in the 1st and a great small hotel, not to be confused with Hotel du Louvre. website is www.relaisdulouvre.com
They have family rooms at your price range and at the top of the range two very large rooms, 51 and 52 that they call suites that will sleep 4.
Great location, great staff and manager Sophie is wonderful.

Hotel du Danube is charming and central at St Germain and has suites for 4 under your price range. The hotel has "apartments" either with 2 double rooms or with 1 double room and one room with twin beds. Made certain you book the latter. http://www.hoteldanube.fr/home.php
