This is great, Pauline. Since Sally and I are already francophile pals from other boards, I hope we can help each other out!

I'm very happy to see St. Cirq here! I remember her kindness in replying to my dumb questions on another board.

We didn't make it to the Dordogne last time, but definitely will include it in our itinerary next time. St. Cirq, will you please suggest the best places to visit and/or stay in that region?

I hope the French conversation here can become as busy at the Italian board.

Libbie: I'll create a whole new post about the Dordogne - that way, more people will find it and be able to make use of the information. Will try to do that over the weekend.

StCirq,

Wonderful! I was just about to ask you for information about the Dordogne as well. We're planning on France next fall, and the Dordogne is one of the areas we're considering.

We are so fortunate to have the expertise of St. Cirq on our board. Steve and I benefitted from her vast knowledge when we spent time in the Dordogne 4 years ago.

We contacted her again about 6 months ago when we knew we wanted to return to that region and explore it the Slow Traveler way. She is the one that recommended the agency Simply Perigord that we are using.

St. Cirq is a gem!
