Interesting article...

Collobrières is a lovely little village and very much off the beaten tourist track - it's claim to fame is the chestnut forests in which it is located and we went to the Fête des Marrons one fall and had a great time.

p.s.: don't remember anything about them accepting francs. Must have been in the post-euro, pre-franc window.

I'm also quite fond of Collobrières, so relaxed and Provençal authentic, yet so near St Trop.
