I just found this site thought it was interesting...these are by owner and are very reasonable especially if you want to stay more than a month or so...

We are thinking about this ourselves and will be checking this site often.

Don't forget Craigslist if you're looking for a place anywhere that they have listings for France. I got a great sublet directly from owner last year in Paris.
