I am new to the website, and I can not figure out how to
send a new message or a new post to the message board.
Anyways my question is, I have a patient that is traveling to Normandy and will need to rent some oxygen. I am having problems finding any companies or even hospitals. Can anyone help!
Thanks very much,
Kassandra eek big grin

First, I did a search on Google for "durable medical equipment rentals - France" and came up with this:

http://www.independentliving.org/links/links-travel-and-leisure.html

The above site contains a lot of information for the disabled traveler or for those who might need some assistance, such as needing oxygen. Somewhere in the huge number of links in that sight should be some information that your patient should find useful.

Other possible sites may come up by varying the search parameters.

As far as how to do a new post, when you first go into the France message board, look for the button near the top labeled "New Topic." Click on it. I see Amy has started a new topic for you, now.

Here in Bayeux, the central pharmacy has this sort of stuff in its window: Pharmacie Centrale, 1 rue St. Jean, telephone (from IN France) 02-31-92-07-63. Or you can call the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU), the biggest hospital in the region, on the north side of Caen -- it's the biggest, ugliest building visible from the 4-lane ring-road highway which goes around Caen: 02-31-06-31-06. If you call from the US, dial your access code (for example, 011) then the country code (33) and then NO zero! Thus, from the US the Pharmacie Centrale in Bayeux would be 011-33-2-31-93-07-63.
