It is quite walkable and what a great walk. Viamichelin suggests this route which takes 22 minutes. But I suggest you reserve at least half an hour for dilly-dallying and shilly-shallying on the lovely walk.

The Mappy site (www.mappy.fr) also times the walk to Alliance Française at about 23 minutes but you can also use this site to learn about your options with public transportation; just choose the Itinéraire en transport en commun (IDF) option and it should even give the schedules.
