Am I too old? Too unhip? The invite got lost in the spam bin?
How o how did I miss this mass moonwalk on Oberkampf ?
To add insult to injury... Look at those kids: they were not even moonwalking. They were just walking backward. Now this (very irate Complain) dinosaur does know how to moonwalk !

Whew! 35 is too hot. Is it windy too?

Here it is close to 30 and that's already too hot.

Haven't seen any moon-walking around Saint-Aignan.

Americana,

I heard that they only invited the unhip, so that the ultrahipsters could watch it, which was much more impressive! Consider it a badge of honor!

Jeez, louise Americana - someone told me all your radicals were already spoken for ???

Ken -

You'd be surprised how quickly you get used to 35 degrees down here in lands south of the Loire. It's dead dry heat and with a pleasant little breeze, a nice chilled bottle of rosé (unblended !!!), and a large shady tree filled with merrily singing cigales within a few steps of the pool, well, 35 doesn't seem that hot...

35 not that hot. Wow. Are you sure you lived in San Francisco? You know, that "dead dry heat" is what they carve onto tombstones in places like Las Vegas.

Anyway, we have plenty of unblended rosés here too and we enjoy them even when the temperature is below 30.

I have fond memories of my time in Provence, now ... 40 years ago. If I weren't allergic to cypress and olive tree pollen, I might be tempted.

29 and counting in Saint-Aignan today.

I'm not a huge M.J. fan (post "Thriller) but I must say this really made me smile. Sure, the moonwalking skills were lame (whose aren't?) but look at all those people just having fun. It was delightful.

They are just walking backward, or else busting out tecktonik moves.
