Hi, I live in Uruguay, and normally before a trip I used to consult the Michellin Guide, which I find great and much better than others more famous like Lonely Planet for example...but two years ago is like no bookstore in Montevideo or Buenos Aires have Michelling Guide, and I was wondering if they do not bring it because a commercial reason or if in fact the Michellin Guide it does not exist anymore...I am talking about the typical green Michellin guides? Does somebody knows if in Europe you can get new edition of the Michellin Guide?? Thanks!
I love the Michelin Green Guides too, and there's no problem to get them in the USA or buy online through Amazon. Last month in France I saw Green Guides in several bookstores-- I think in French, English and German.
I found the website for Michelin Travel Guides and here is the page on the green guides. It looks like you could order them online there.
Maybe you could e-mail the publisher (through the "contact" feature of their website) and find out where you could buy the guides in Uruguay.
Thank you Katy, excellent information...I will have to order it by the web, or start my own bussiness as an importer of Michellin Guides in Uruguay!! Thanks a lot!
