6 of my group of 9 are going on a whole day tour of Normandy, but 3 members of the group only want to take a half day tour. Does anyone have a recommendation for a half day tour?

Will you be based in Paris? It takes about 3 hours just to get to Normandy !

No, we'll be in Bayeux. I've seen several tour groups that do half day tours, but I'd like to see if anyone has a recommendation.

For those with a big interest I always recommend that you pick a unit and follow them across the beach. Could be local to you or whatever. The macro level is quite the complement to the overall tour.

I especially like the far right of Omaha at Vierville sur Mer where the "Bedford Boys"of Company Ä, 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division came ashore with 2 boats of Rangers. It is this group of men that were showcased in Tom Hanks "Saving Private Ryan". Company A sustained 90% casualties that morning.

We're taking Battlebus' American Highlights full day tour for 85 euros. Not sure if they do half days.

They are already booked in May! We checked with them 1st!

We're taking the tour on D-Day and I booked the first of the year which is when they started taking reservations.
