We travelled to Italy a couple of years ago and there's a great description on this site about getting around the airport in Rome and getting to the car rental desk. It also took you out of the airport and on your way and back! VERY HELPFUL. I was wondering if anyone has a similar link for CDG. We'll be renting cars (3) and heading for Normandy for 3 nights, then Versailles for 4.Thanks

this area can help you get around. Signs are well posted; easy to get to car rentals area.
driving to Normandy and Versailles(where I am) is very easy too. Take the D104 direction cergy-pontoise signs gets you into the francilienne beltway also coded N104 then put you into the A15 direction Rouen to go to normandy. on the way back to get to Versailles you get again on the A15 or the A13 from Normandy.
if on the A15 you get at same exit 7 you went there and get on the N184 towards Versailles.
If you are on the A13 then get off on exit 6 to city center.

Note that the Francilienne can be extremely crowded during rush hour...I learned the hard way coming in from Normandy a few years ago...
