Reason #1 to love my job: I have the chance to go to France on a research trip! However, it all has to come together quickly, and I'll need a place to stay in the Dijon area the last two weeks in August (or, possibly, the first two weeks in September).

I'm looking for something small and basic -- all I need is a place to sleep, a kitchenette, and internet connectivity, so a walkup studio is fine.

I figured someone here would have a few suggestions/bits of advice....

Never stayed there myself, but have heard very good things from guests about Coco's place to rent in Dijon - at this web site.

I would second this apartment. It is in a great location. Did not stay there but at the Sofitel for 4 nights but have noted this for longer trips in the future. The Dijon site on Trip Advisor may give more information.

Adore Dijon. The old part is architecturally fascinating and as a university "town" there is a lot going on.

All of the reviews of Coco's place here and elsewhere put it at the top of my list. Coco is also very helpful with planning a trip, even if you are not staying in her apartment.
