Got back from a week in Paris on Marriott Reward points that included business class flights from Toronto...and did a mini movie of the holiday which you might find interesting.
That was fun. I changed it to be an embedded video to entice others to view it. I also love the music. I'm guessing the some is something like "Dors bébé Dors" but I couldn't find anything similar. I love the acoustic guitar and the sultry French singing.
Loved your video and the music, although I was unable to find it. I can't tell you how envious I am regarding this project. My husband and I just returned from Tuscany and have finally given up trying to put a video together. I realize how much time it takes to do these things. Again, loved it.

Sharon ... Don't know what's up with the website link. I went to it and it seems to be under construction, but was working the other day. May be temporary.
Don't give up on your movie making ... it's a great hobby and does take a lot of time but the results are really enjoyable. Here's a software I'd recommend that includes Adobe's Premiere movie maker AND their famous Photoshop so you can make even better looking still photos...and then mix them together in the final production. Fun.

Thanks Pwrshift. We will give it a try. We used Windows Movie Maker and had everything set, but now we can't save anything or download them because when we edited from the movie we were making, those edited out pictures went somewhere under who knows what title and we can't find them. Now, we are stuck with something we can't use and will have to start all over. It took us 8 hours plus to make our movie and now it's a mess. We have tried to find support from Windows, but so far no luck. We are so upset and frustrated, that we gave up. Fortunately, our son-in-law was able to burn our video, but it's only on CD and we can't figure out how to put the file back together to download it in DVD form. He searched every file known to man, but can't find them. I'm sure I'm not making much sense here, but it really has been horrible. We will sit down tomorrow and see how we do with your recommendation. I'll let you know and again, thank you.

This music site seems to be working again, thank goodness -- I'd be lost without it for my home movies.
Movie Maker isn't a 'full' program to make a dvd, unfortunately, and you'll find the Adobe program is good from start to finish - but don't expect too much too soon and try a long movie. Best advice in the learning stage is to make a 30 second commercial for your movie first.
Unless you actually deleted your files from your computer (did you look in recycle basket) they should be there somewhere but hopefully you've got your original picture and movie files in your cameras and can reassemble without too much trouble. Just keep the first few projects while learning small.

Yes, it's working now. What a great site. Thanks for all your suggestions. The recycle basket may be the place they slipped to and in our haste to try and make more room for the movie, we deleted everything in the basket, never dreaming our pictures were there.
Thanks again.
