I have to agree with KT. I'm not certain 'enjoyed' is the right word. I was definitely moved by the movie and I thought it was very good. I can still see vivid images from several of the scenes in the movie. But I was disturbed by the violence and I ended up not watching a fair amount. If you want to know more about the director, I highly recommend this NPR Fresh Air segment. It is a 45 minute interview of the director Guillermo del Toro. If you have an I-pod, download it as a podcast at I-Tunes.

Sorry if I used the wrong term "enjoy". For me it was a very thought provoking movie about a childs way with dealing with the horrors of war. I don't want to say much more for those interested in viewing it.
