Hi all,
Since Air France is having a sale, hubby and I decided to take advantage and go to the F1 race in Barcelona, and finish up our adventure in Girona. We were in Girona in 05,loved it, but didn't get to see too much of it.
It would be great if anyone can help with a few sites that they would like to visit and if anyone has stayed at the apartment hotel,"Hap Dreams"
We are not doing ST this time- we only have 6 days. So we have 2 days for the race,3 days to site see and 1 day to travel. We will have a car.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I have checked out that hapdreams website - I didn't rent from them but they look great and I hope you will write a review when you get back!

Hopefully someone else will pop in with some advice on Girona - I am not going until September... can't wait to hear about your trip.

I've been a couple of times. It is quite small. Do some research on Wikipedia, then visit the tourist office.


For something different see if you can squeeze in a visit to Ampuria Brava (Phoenician/Greek/Roman remains), Figueres (Dali museum), Port Legat (Dali house) which are all quite close.

Check out the tiny jewel of a Medieval village of Monells, very near Girona. (And for such a small village, it has several nice eateries…)
