Letizia, we have a couple of recent reviews on slowtrav... Click on "older reviews" to bring up more.
I really enjoyed the tapas at Modesto - we had some little clams that were really great and pimientos de Padron, I think. The outside dining area was packed and I think dinner would be good there too. It looks like they have a few other restaurants as well.
In Cordoba, my mother and I ate at a GREAT middle eastern restaurant... if it is still there, and if you want something different, try Comedor Arabe Andalussi in Plaza Abades. They have no wine or beer here - only tea, unless something has changed.
I hope you will write some reviews when you get back!

We really enjoyed tapas at Bar Las Teresas which was very popular and near where we watched flamenco one night ( don't miss it, my daughter loved it too!).
Maribel's guide has some great advice, but we were hungry after sight seeing one day, so stumbled on a place right across from the cathedral and fountain with red table cloths outside. We had two octogenarians with us and they could not walk another step, but I worried it would be yucky tourist food. It was great! Sometimes you get lucky, but I do not know the name.
DO go to Cordoba for the day, it is really easy to do, especially if you are staying in the Santa Cruz area which I highly recommend. We all loved the Mesquita and had a great lunch at El Caballo Rojo afterwards.
some suggestions, old and well tested are these Cordoba El Caballo Rojo, cardenal Herrero 28 La Taberna, Antonio Machado 24 for tapas, Zona Juderia at pepe el de la juderia, romero 1
Sevilla Casa Robles, alvarez Quintero 58 La Albahaca, Pl Santa Cruz 12
tapas en Sevilla is sublime loaded try barrio de triana, Las golondrinas, ,Antillano Campos 26 zona Santa Cruz, Las Terezas, Santa Teresa 2 there are so many good one, hard to miss one.
