I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hotel Barcelo Sants above the train station in Barcelona? Worth staying at? From the reviews I could find in the net, they seemed a bit mixed; good location but the hotel could use a make over.

It's not worth it, in my opinion. It's a large, non-descript hotel, modern with no character. Its only advantage is being on top of the railway station, but that's not really an advantage unless you're leaving somewhere early the next morning. The station isn't very close to downtown, either, so you'll have to take public transportation to get there... I was only there for a conference but wouldn't choose it for a holiday unless the prices were particularly good. Rooms were fine, spacious, comfortable, what you'd expect from a solid modern hotel. A bit low on charm.
