I tried a travel agency in Madrid and two weeks later they STILL have not finalized arrangements. I need a FAST, quality Spain-based travel agency, preferably one that will itemize the cost including their fee.
I can provide all the particulars including when, no. of days in each city, price range, and type of hotels desirerd.

I looked at our main Slow Travel web pages and we do not have any listings for Spain based travel agents or consultants. The focus of our board is on slow travel and it is common for our members to do their own planning along with arranging rentals.
But we do have several US based travel consultants on the board that do all of Europe. You can find a few of them listed on our travel consultants page. Our members may have personal recommendations also.
Good Luck,
Marta

I am not sure if I am peermitted to reply to this as I do advertise with Slow Travel under Spain travel consultants (Marta is actually incorrect when she says there are none!)
We are based in Soapain and would be delighted to help and can promise very speedy replies.

Hi there...try www.anamazinghotel.com. It is owned and operated by 2 of the nicest people, Michael and Laura, who arranged our whole Spanish travel itinerary, quickly, efficiently and with warmth and empathy. They even arranged for our car in Italy also. They booked our hotels (and they are amazing hotels) gave us detailed directions to each place, gave us train and airline shedules when needed. The best part...they are fast, super friendly and extremely professional! I wouuld use tem again in a heartbeat!
Hacienda Buen Suceso is on my list to visit when I do the Hotel inspections on the islands. Sadly the other is far too large for us as we only feature luxury boutique Hotels. Incidentally "boutique" in terms of Hotels is a term being largely abused by many websites and Hotel chains as they jump on the bandwagon and try and promote Hotels as "boutique". (Welcome any comments on this). To my mind they should be under 50 rooms - preferably under 30!! I accept that a few exceptions in cities can exist (let us say maximum 80 rooms) as a 10 bedroom Hotel is not really financially viable in a big city. However they should feel small and intimate.
Un saludo, Michael
