Much against our better judgment!

Have had a great time - our teenage goddaughters were just here for 4 days (en route home to Toronto from a German School Exchange) - their first trip to Europe and functionally their first flights. It was wonderful to see budding "Slow Travelers"!

We don't go home right away - thank goodness! Off to Malta for 3 days - it's been on our list of winter possibilities for several years and we picked up a cheap Clickair flight.....

Adios!

I will keep my fingers crossed that the (existing) snow/ice melts before you fly home.

We are, sadly, expecting another dump tonight...

On the good news front, I have a few snow drops in bloom.

Liz, your pictures on your blog of the markets in Barcelona are incredible! Being an over the top food fan, this is right up my alley. I would rather see pictures of food than art. But then I think pictures of food is art! Really am enjoying your whole blog, I have already talked my husband into a month in Barcelona next spring/summer 2009! Fantastic!

Liz, I really enjoyed your recent entries! Very interesting and unique looking architecture. I also liked those market photos. And I can't wait to try those famous tapas bars!

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences.

Liz, I've really enjoyed 'traveling' with you via your blog. You have such good adventures. I really enjoyed your posts on Egypt and Petra. So exotic and different. Your pictures and reports from Barcelona has put the city higher up on my list of future trips.

Have a safe trip home.

Thanks all! Still lots of posts to come - especially restaurants........probably will happen once we're home and then we'll do a Malta update.

It's sad to leave here - we have loved it so much. Barcelona is a wonderful destination and perfect for the Slow Traveler!
