I'm going to a birthday party in Biarritz at the end of March. Had planned to drive with my husband from Madrid, but now he may not be able to go.
I'd rather not drive from Madrid alone, so I'm wondering what would be the best alternative for getting to Biarritz: train or fly?

Or should I think about flying from the US to some other major airport, ie: Paris, for better access?

Or does anyone have any other ideas?
