I attended the instituto italiano di cultura in San Francisco. It had a separate school attached called ItaLingua per stranieri in San Francisco. The school was originally very good when it employed retired teachers from major universities, but started to degenerate when it hired young ex-pats who were laureati, but not necessarily good teachers. They ultimately separated and the Instituto Italiano here has become a good school with a very dedicated staff and faculty,
