Hello.
There is an old song of a group named The Rokes. It is called Bisogna saper perdere and i have a problem translating just one line.
It says...Tu non devi odiarmi se lei vuole bene a me(so far i understand)
capita ogni giorno (this is what i do not understand and i want your help on this)quello che e successo a noi(this i understand).
So the problem is capita ogni giorno...Is this an idiomatic expression? It just doesn't make any sense.
Thank you in advance.
Antonis,
Athens,
Greece.

You are probably confusing Càpita-Present tense of verb Capitare 3dr sing as in this case- with Capìta from verb capire.

It happens everyday what has happened to us

Capita, from the verb CAPITARE= To happen, capitare, succedere etc
