As in an email welcoming back a group of people from the summer. So ben tornati? I think it might all be stuck together actually, so perhaps "Bentornati"?

Both are correct: bentornato or ben tornato
And you're right, if it's a group of people it's bentornati or ben tornati.

Yes I would say bentornati (or ben tornati, either way is correct)
